The Steel City Softball League is passing along the following message from one of our sister cities.
The 2022 MIST Softball Tournament is this Labor Day Weekend in Detroit (9/1/2022-9/4/2022). Below is the information about the tournament:
- Dates of the Tournament:
- Thursday night September 1, 2022: Early check in for Detroit Teams (and any out of town teams that arrive early) at the Ferndale Elks Lodge
- Friday night September 2, 2022: check in for all players/teams at the Host Hotel
- Saturday September 3, 2022: games all day
- Sunday September 4, 2022: games all day / closing party at the Host Hotel

- Free parking at the hotel complex
- Please limit your booking to 2-3 rooms per person. Too many times one person on a team books 8-10 rooms so the hotel fills up instantly, only later to release half the rooms a few days before the tournament.
