This year, Brewers Bar under the direction of Carol and her team of supporters, held the 3rd annual Andy Usner Christmas Drive. This drive benefits members in our community which are in need. Brewers provides food, and gifts in partnerships with other local organizations.
This year, the SCSL’s Executive Board chipped in and donated approximately $200 in gifts to those individuals to help fulfill Andy’s ensuring promise and commitment to our LGBTQ+ community.
We are so incredibly honored and thankful for all that Brewers has done for our league over the years, and we are happy to keep Andy’s vision alive.
Brewers Bar has been in Carol’s family for over 40 years. Her father helped so many people during the HIV/AIDS epidemic, especially those whose family disowned them. After her father passed, she swore to keep his memory alive and do the same by helping those in the community.
If you have no place to go this holiday, please know that Carol serves dinner at Brewers Bar on Christmas, and you are always welcome.
