Fields Chairperson (2025-2026)

Amy Haushalter (She/Her)

Nomination Text: “From the moment Amy showed up at spring training 3 years ago; she has been a light in our league. Any time anything is asked of her, she shows up without question.

She helped get the Slayer become the fun, energetic team they are today.

Whenever I need something she is one of the first calls i make. Whether it is to check a field, or to come help us take a field after a storm. She will be great in this role and will bring new energy to the executive board.”

Assistant Commissioner – Competitive Division (2025-2026)

Wayne Dotson (He/Him)

Nomination Text: “Wayne has been an upstanding member of the SCSL. With his experience in NAGAAA, as well as overall softball knowledge (and sportsmanship), I think Wayne would make an excellent candidate for the Board as assistant commissioner.”

Self Nomination Text: “For those of you who don’t know who I am my name is Wayne Dotson (pronouns he/him), and I am running for Assistant Commissioner of the competitive division.

I started playing gay softball in Washington, DC Chesapeake & Potomac Softball League (CAPS) over 20 years ago and a member of NAGAA/IPRIDE. In my time with CAPS I held many positions on the board.

  • 2 terms as Assistant Commissioner of the Open Division
  • 2 terms as C Division Representative
  • 2 terms as D Division Representative
  • 2 terms as NAGAAA/IPRIDE Delegate
  • Worked on committees that helped bring 2 GSWS to DC (2003, 2013)
  • Worked on committees for MAGIC Softball tournament

Moved to Pittsburgh in 2021 and immediately joined SCSL as an original member of the Slayers. I then moved up a divisor and became a Penetrator and now I play with the Expendaballs. I want to get SCSL back on the map like this league was years ago when I first started playing and the Pittsburgh Rogues were a well known name in NAGAAA/IPRIDE”

Marketing Chairperson (2025-2026)

Stephanie Olsen (She/Her)

Nomination Text: “Steph is a highly engaged and social member of the league who is deeply invested in the positive community and competitive experience of our members. She is a get-sh*t-done problem solver and wants to bring that added executive function to the board.”

Marketing Chairperson (2025-2026)

Tom Stumme (He/Him)

Nomination Text: “I’m nominating Tom Stumme for marketing chairperson because he loves to make a positive impact wherever he’s at. Tom is originally from Pittsburgh lived in Philly for the past 13 years. Tom has played in the Philly league for 13 years. This is Tom’s first year with SCSL. Tom had already made a positive impact on our team this season. I think Tom could enhance the connection of steel city, softball league to the community and continue to keep members and forms engaged and highlighted.

Tom would love to be an integral part of continuing the growth of the league and see it thrive.
Tom was on the board for the City of Brotherly Love Softball league. And have been on multiple boards of non profit organizations. Tom have also been a part of communications/social media/PR groups in his old job at Vanguard.”

Treasurer (2025-2026)

Bobby Angelo (He/Him)

Nomination Text: “Robert (Bobby) Angelo is a Senior Manager, Compliance Operations at Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Saint Vincent College in 2008. Prior to starting his role at FHLB, he spent over nine years at BNY Mellon Bank in various roles, ending his time there as Vice President- Accounting/Operations Manager.

Bobby has served our league the previous two years as treasurer and wishes to continue to help the league by serving in this role for another term.
He has streamlined some of our financial processes, played an integral role in obtaining over $15,000 in donations, and has provided timely financial updates at all Board of Directors meetings.

Bobby has played four years in the league and currently plays for the Little Pigs. He has represented the league at several NAGAA meetings and led a Pittsburgh team to go to the NAGAA World Series.

I am nominating Bobby because he has truly excelled in his role as Treasurer of this league. I have seen first hand his dedication to the league when he and his partner spent several hours prepping fields on a Friday night so they would be in superb condition for play the following day. Despite playing in a lower division, I look forward to playing against him and his team every year. Bobby is an asset to this league and the league would be lucky to have him serve as Treasurer for another two years.”
