One of the important tasks of the new Executive Board was to review the feedback given from the previous season. The two key takeaways were field locations and communication.
Fields
There was an overwhelming request to have more games within the City of Pittsburgh.
Well…we’ve heard you! We are happy to announce that all normal season games will be played in the City of Pittsburgh. With the exception of Opening Day and Playoff games, which will still be held in North Park.

Dan Marino Field, located in South Oakland.
Richie McCabe Field and Gardner Field, located in the Northside.
We are sad to say that West Penn Park is closed until further notice due to construction. The field will likely reopen in 2023.
Communication
The other piece of feedback was communication. We’ve worked tirelessly sending emails to everyone. We looked at how we can better communicate, and yes, we can send emails and post to social media, but sometimes that’s not enough. Therefore, we are on the verge of another method being released soon. We’re happy to announce that we will have text message notifications for day of emergency use.
We will have further guidance on SMS notifications leading up to the season, but we just wanted you to know that we heard you, and we are taking action!
